St John’s is a warm and welcoming fellowship of worshipping Christians. We have a strong commitment to good liturgy and to high quality church music.

We are a growing church, combining a preference for the more traditional service with a forward-looking attitude.

It is the policy in the Southwark Diocese that to be appointed to an incumbent status post a priest must normally have served a stipendiary title in an Anglican church in the British Isles, or, following a Candidates Panel for ministers of other Churches and Priests from other Anglican Provinces, has met the Adviser’s recommendations for appointment to posts of incumbency status, set out in a report to the diocesan Bishop.

St John’s is a very special church, with a warm, welcoming, cohesive congregation. We are a growing church that is keen to listen to God, to explore further what our mission is and are deepening our discipleship. The church is well resourced and maintained. The congregation are supportive and involved.

This is an exciting time for St John’s; for the first time we will have our own Team Vicar.

As well as leading St John’s, the new Team Vicar will be part of the Wimbledon Ministry Team.
