Key Role: The main emphasis of the role is to enable adults to come to a mature faith in Jesus Christ. It will suit someone gifted in preaching and teaching, with a passion for evangelism and discipleship. There are clear opportunities to develop our ministry in the local community, among those who commute to work, with young adults and with young families.
The Associate Minister will share with the Vicar the responsibility for the overall leadership and direction of the church, the support and training of volunteers and the oversight of the staff team.
The person appointed to this role is ready to commit themselves fully to the vision of Christ Church. They are wholehearted in living for God, have evidence of a deep personal walk with God and are confident in sharing their faith. They have a recognized theological or ministry qualification and have experience of leadership in a local church. They have a heart for seeing people come to faith in Christ and grow as disciples.

Whenever we meet, whether on Sundays or in small groups throughout the week we want to discover more about God, encourage each other and be equipped to serve. We have a heart for people of all ages and backgrounds, praying for God’s grace to be deeply experienced. Our two Sunday services have a regular attendance of 150 adults and 65 children and youth. We welcome everyone whatever their struggles and call all to walk in the transforming love of Christ and power of the Holy Spirit.
