St Mary the Virgin is a beautiful and much-visited Romanesque church at the heart of Iffley village and at the centre of an East Oxford parish which includes the more socio-economically diverse areas of Rose Hill and Donnington. It has a warm and welcoming congregation from a variety of Christian traditions who come to worship in a central, eucharistic, and inclusive way.Iff

We seek a parish priest who is drawn to:

• a commitment to prayer
• sacramental and liturgical ministry
• preaching which reflects careful study and reflection on scripture, theology, and present-day life
• sharing and encouraging pastoral ministry with a committed lay team
• developing new forms of outreach to young people and families engaging with the wider community
