St Swithun’s is a town centre church based in a busy and growing market town to the East of Bedfordshire. It benefits from a team of volunteers, good relationships within the wider community, and a high profile on the High Street.

We have been on a journey from a focus on Eucharistic Worship, to more recently embracing a family-friendly Worship with an emphasis on teaching from the Gospels. Within the church there is a diversity of worship preferences, but now greater humility and understanding to appreciate and encourage each other’s needs.

We wish to be a place where all feel welcome, supported in their faith and life journey led by a warm person, displaying a Christian character and we seek a Rector who will be/be able to:

• Communicate the Gospel in an inclusive and engaging style

• Engage with both contemporary and traditional worship styles
