A Lead Tutor is sought for Ripon College Cuddesdon's Hereford centre based in Ludlow.

This role will provide support to the full-time director (based in Gloucester), taking lead responsibility for the work of the Hereford (Ludlow) teaching centre and teaching in areas in which s/he is suitably qualified.

The main duties include:

• To be present at and responsible for all Wednesday study evenings at the CGH Ludlow Centre.
• To teach and assess modules as necessary in Ludlow and in Gloucester and be responsible for finding, supporting and resourcing academic tutors to deliver all other Ludlow modules.
• To be the primary point of contact between CGH and Ludlow Mascall Centre, including the CGH Library.
• To lead the formation programme for ordinands and Readers-in-training at the Ludlow Centre.
• To oversee in collaboration with relevant members of diocesan staff all ministerial placements for CGH Ludlow students, including debriefing and assessment as necessary.
• To liaise with home parish supervisors as necessary to support students’ learning.

We are seeking someone with:

• A relevant higher degree at least at Masters’ level.

• Familiarity with recent and developing thinking in a relevant field of Theology.

• Management and administrative skills of a high order.

• To be an actual communicant member of the Church of England or a Church in communion with it.
