In the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham we believe that housing matters. Our policy is to maintain a high standard of housing for clergy, other occupants, and their families. Feeling comfortable, secure and happy at home makes for better ministry and is part of the Church’s proper pastoral care for its people. The property team manages all diocesan housing.
We are looking for someone to support the Diocesan Surveyor, who would provide a high standard of administrative support to ensure timely and cost-effective repair and maintenance service to our houses. You will also administer lettings of vacant housing stock.
You would be the central point of contact for clergy when they have a problem at their property, therefore communication, understanding, and interpersonal skills are paramount.
We are looking for someone with administrative experience ideally in property management , including the ability to use Microsoft Office products effectively and understanding of databases, you will be flexible and adaptable with excellent communication skills. You will also be part of the Administration Network for peer support and sharing of leading practice.
