The Bishop of Manchester is looking to appoint a committed and collaborative priest as Archdeacon of Bolton & Salford who will be able to provide excellent support and leadership at this exciting time for our diocese.
Manchester Diocese has an inspiring vision for 2030 and we’re making good progress towards achieving this with the development of ambitious new programmes, all designed to release new missional energy and creativity. We are also making fundamental changes to the way we work together with the streamlining of our deanery structures, the appointment of full-time Area Deans and the launch of our new mission communities. The successful candidate will be someone with experience of the challenges of leading and managing change and be creative in encouraging new forms of mission and ministry. They will have worked in deprived communities and be committed to diversity, inclusion and racial justice.
