The Astwell Benefice is located in a beautiful part of South Northamptonshire. We work as a United Benefice, so whereas there are six churches, there is ONE Joint Council. Close by are the market towns of Towcester and Brackley. We have excellent transport routes with fast trains to London and Birmingham, and easy access to the M1 and M40.

For an informal discussion about the role, please contact The Revd Matthew Robinson, Rural Dean of Brackley at fathermatthew.r@icloud.com

Applications preferred from our website Diocese of Peterborough | Vacancies (peterborough-diocese.org.uk) or by emailing the PA to the Archdeacons: pa.archdeacons@peterborough-diocese.org.uk

We would like to WELCOME a Rector who will:

  • Enjoy living and working in these villages
  • See work with children, young people and families as an absolute priority
  • Maintain good links with our local schools
  • Help us to continue the development of a united structure in this rural benefice
  • Provide warm hearted pastoral care for our communities
  • Be a team player, encouraging lay participation and leadership
  • Inspire and uplift our congregations
  • Understand the challenges and opportunities of rural ministry
  • Be visible, taking the church into the community

Could this be you? We would love to meet you.
