The Patrons of the benefice of Cuckfield and Bolney, seek to appoint a new Incumbent to love, serve and inspire our community and nurture a deeper maturity of faith in us.

The primary focus of this post will be the Parish of Holy Trinity, Cuckfield with a House for Duty Associate Priest living and providing pastoral ministry in the Parish of St Mary Magdalene, Bolney,

We are praying for a priest who:

• recognises an embraces our Eucharistic-based churchmanship and strong musical tradition, while developing a diversity of styles of worship to attract young families and encourage growth;
• has the vision and drive to lead the engagement of the church with the local community and take an active role in the life of our schools;
• is a confident leader who can relate to all ages and has a heart for pastoral care;
• has an inclusive approach to the Gospel and can preach in a practical, culturally relevant way.

Cuckfield and Bolney are two adjacent communities at the centre of the Diocese of Chichester in the Deanery of Cuckfield and in the heart of Mid Sussex. They are flourishing residential communities conscious of their history yet embracing the present.
