Our vision at St Mary’s Maidenhead is to know Jesus and make Jesus known.

We are looking to appoint an Associate Minister who will take overall responsibility for either two congregations or of one congregation and an additional significant ministry area.

We are one church family organised pastorally around five congregations which meet at 8.00am, 9.15am, 11.00am, 4.00pm and 6.30pm each Sunday. We have an extensive children’s, youth, discipleship, evangelistic and international ministry enabled by numerous volunteers and a staff team of eleven.

• Preaching and teaching
• Taking overall responsibility for one or two of our Sunday congregations
• Potential for leading another significant ministry area according to your gifts and experience (e.g. Growth Groups, Men’s Ministry, International Ministry etc.)
• Supporting the Vicar

You will either be an ordained Anglican or someone who has gained significant experience of gospel ministry outside of the Church of England.

• A committed Christian with a mature faith in Jesus whose character reflects the characteristics the apostle Paul expects in 1 Timothy 3: 1-7 and Titus 1:6-9
• Passionate about and gifted in Bible teaching
• Ability to lead, manage, motivate and support others
• Ability to engage with people, building trust and maintaining good relationships
• Teachable and eager to learn from others with a proven ability to take direction well
• Resilient, able to deal with challenges while maintaining performance
• Agreement with St Mary’s vision and values
