We are looking for an engaging and adaptable candidate to join our Office Services Team. This team is responsible for supporting all departments within NCIs with logistics, printing, hospitality and telephone reception services.

The post holder will undertake a broad range of support functions, work with limited supervision and undertake a range of skilled tasks. Office Services is realigning the way in which it delivers services and full training will be provided to the successful candidate.

The main functions of this role are:

· transporting documents from the main library archive to Church House

· supporting departments with moving of large or heavy items

We are looking for an individual to complete the following;

  • Porterage and logistical support
    • Transporting documents and other materials from the main archive library to and from Church House and Lambeth Palace
    • Assisting with relocating goods and materials around Church House
    • Re-locating work stations and equipment throughout Church House
    • Moving and storing confidential waste

We are also looking for this new member of the team to learn and engage with the following as part of their role;

  • Print room services
  • Hospitality services
  • Front Desk Duties
  • Carrying out any other duties as required


  • The ability to represent the service in a professional manner
  • Good command of English language
  • Good communications skills
  • Capable of manual handling
  • The ability to work under a level of pressure
  • Customer care skills
  • Clean full UK drivers licence held for at least 8 years


  • Experience of providing general support services, within at least one of the functional areas
  • Awareness of Health and Safety in the workplace

  • The post holder must wear a uniform during working hours, that will be provided by the employer
