This is a rare opportunity to minister in a single church with a significant weddings ministry.

The post is an interim (3 year) part time role with 0.5 stipend in lieu of housing. It is envisaged that the post will involve 2.5 days, plus Sundays. St Nicholas is part of the wider benefice of Bourne End and Hedsor, but this role is focused in Hedsor only. Discussions concerning the future of the benefice and the sister church of St Mark’s, Bourne End, are ongoing.

The vision of the church is:

from our small church, following the teaching of Jesus Christ, we reach out to the wide world with love and compassion.

Our new Associate Priest will

• lead the church in further growth and faith development, especially encouraging our younger generation and young church
• lead worship, occasional offices (including 25+ weddings per annum) and pastoral work
• value traditional ways and embrace a new way forward
• identify, enable and work with lay volunteers

We seek an Associate Priest who:

• has a deep Christian faith and helps others to walk with Jesus
• enjoys pastoral and weddings ministry
• is willing to work collaboratively with colleagues in the Deanery, Area and Diocese
