An administrator is required to support the work of New Street Church in Falmouth.
Key responsibilities include managing the ChurchSuite system (diaries, contact management, bookings and mailings) and general administrative tasks such as records management, responding to queries, ordering supplies and overseeing the Teams and Sharepoint for the team.
This is a role for someone who has significant administrative experience and is good with people. We need a safe pair of hands who will be efficient and effective.
Whilst it is home based, we would prefer a candidate who is able to meet up with the Team from time to time, and travel expenses will not be paid from outside Cornwall.
In return you will join a great, supportive team. As an employee of the Diocese of Truro you will have access to benefits such as a range of wellbeing activities, flexible working, up to 26 days leave pro rata and a Pension Scheme with 9-15% employer contribution.
We welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons. However, we would particularly welcome applications from those with a disability, or from a UK minority ethnic background, as these groups are currently under-represented in our staff. The role is does not have an occupational requirement to be a practising Christian but you need to be sympathetic to the aims and vision of the Church of England and comfortable in a church environment.
