The London Diocesan Board for Schools wishes to recruit a well organised, trustworthy Executive Assistant to provide professional support to the Director of Education and leadership team.

The post is conveniently based approximately 5 minutes from Pimlico tube on the Victoria Line and is close to a number of other main transport links.

Manage and maintain diaries including:

• Scheduling appointments, internal and external meetings, and online calls.

• Preparing agendas.

• Coordinating the weekly staff prayer meeting.

Coordinate communications from the LDBS leadership team including by:

• Prioritising and, where appropriate, responding to emails and phone calls for the Director of Education.

• Drafting and editing correspondence and electronic, on-line and other communications.

Ensure up-to-date record keeping including by:

• Organising files on Sharepoint, One Drive and MS Teams.

• Collecting and collating data from schools and other sources.

Support report writing, including by:

• Assisting with the research, development and writing of presentations and papers for a range of audiences.

• Processing data for use in reports.

Ensure meetings and events run smoothly, including by:

• Coordinating logistics, including hospitality, for in-person and on-line meetings and events.

• Providing administrative support for meetings and events including preparing and distributing meeting materials and taking notes.

• Regular meetings to include leadership team meetings and clergy network meetings (between headteachers and clergy) You may be asked to undertake any other duties and responsibilities commensurate with the post. Some flexibility will be required e.g., attending occasional evening meetings.

Experience and knowledge Your experience and knowledge will enable you to fulfil the job description. It will include some of the following:

• Administrative experience in a busy office environment is essential

• Excellent IT skills are essential, including Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Drive, SharePoint and Teams.

• Prior experience as a PA is desirable.

• Good knowledge of the education sector is desirable.

• Good knowledge and experience of Church of England structures and practices is desirable • Experience of organising meetings and events is desirable.
