We have an interesting and varied opportunity to join the Finance team as a Financial Accountant. This role will support the Head of Finance to control, account for and report on all financial transactions, producing professional management information to senior staff and the Board of Trustees. The post holder will also be responsible for the recovery of contributions from parishes which is the biggest income stream to the Diocese and enables the continued work of the Diocese in supporting and progressing our shared mission and ministry.

The successful applicant should be full, part or newly qualified accountant from a CCAB recognised accountancy body and ideally should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role which includes preparing annual budgets, financial modelling, and analysis, cashflow reporting and statutory accounts. Candidates must have a meticulous and methodical approach with excellent communication skills to build successful relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
