St Giles’ is situated in the heart of the thriving suburb of West Bridgford, three miles south of Nottingham city centre. Our church building is large, historic and beautiful and is well positioned in the centre of our community.

St Giles is at the heart of the vibrant and bustling West Bridgford, three miles from Nottingham city centre. West Bridgford has numerous cafes, bars/restaurants and independent businesses, as well as Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, and Nottingham Forest Football Club. There are also beautiful cycle rides and walks along the River Trent. The two local secondary schools are Ofsted rated outstanding with several excellent primary schools rated outstanding or good. The parish has a significantly younger age profile with 67% of the population of 16,300 under 45.

  • provides inspiring bible-based teaching, discipling and leadership,
  • connects with a variety of worship styles,
  • can nurture the Spirit-given gifts of others,
  • ensures that an empathetic, pastoral heart remains central to our church,
  • will guide with wisdom and a listening ear, and act with sensitivity when change is needed,
  • will be bold, encouraging us to try new things,
  • brings and fosters joy and a sense of fun.
