Is God calling you to an exciting new opportunity in Cornwall’s Cathedral City?

An interim post for an initial period of three years is being created linking St. John’s Truro with St. Kea and a new Bishops Mission Order (BMO) for Truro.

As Priest in Charge of St. John’s and Associate Minister at St. Kea this post offers an opportunity for pioneering mission in the City, working at St John’s and with Truro’s other parishes, forging links with a whole range of City Centre life – schools, hospitals, businesses as well as residents and visitors.

We seek someone who will be:

  • experienced with working and growing a church and able to articulate a vision for growth
  • a person of prayer, vibrant with the Holy Spirit, enthusiastic, sincere, and compassionate
  • an able and clear preacher and communicator who can share the Gospel with all ages
  • at home in liturgical, choral and eucharistic traditions and able to facilitate exploring new ways of worshipping
  • a team player who will develop the gifts of lay leaders and take a full part in the life of the BMO, Deanery and Diocese
  • a facilitator of relationships, someone who will delight in the company of a wide range of people and know they’re not perfect!
