The parish of St. Lawrence and the Deanery of Mansfield are looking for a visionary leader who will be based both in the parish, growing the St Lawrence congregations younger and numerically, and working collaboratively across parish boundaries to explore opportunities for new worshipping communities in the more deprived estate areas.

As a diocese we are seeking to invest in a Transformational Change post, full-time (initially for 3 years with a possible extension of up to 6 years) with the expectation that the priorities, set within the framework of the diocesan vision to grow disciples wider, younger and deeper, will be met. At St Lawrence priorities will include growing the existing Sunday morning, creating new styles of contemporary worship to reach a more diverse demographic, providing pathways for new disciples to find avenues for service and mission, and releasing further lay-led ministries. Across the estates, the priority is exploring new worshipping communities in areas where it’s been hard to do traditional church.
