An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, positive and pro-active Operations Assistant to join our small, friendly team at the Diocese of Exeter based at our Diocesan Offices in central Exeter. The role involves undertaking reception and administration duties, ensuring that the office runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis.

As the first point of contact for visitors and callers to the Old Deanery you will need to be a good communicator with a commitment to great customer service. You will have a strong background in administration, with a good eye for detail, and excellent organisational skills. You will need to be able to manage competing priorities whilst balancing a wide range of duties. You will need sound IT skills and the ability to support colleagues with everyday IT issues, instilling confidence that you will get the job done. The role is diverse, fast paced and provides plenty of opportunities to learn alongside a supportive team of colleagues.

The Operations Assistant will be required to apply for a Basic Disclosure Certificate from the Disclosure and Barring Service in connection with this role.
