As part of our People and Places framework, we have identified the need to radically re-imagine what missional leadership (ordained and lay) needs to look like across our diocese. We are moving to a greater degree of oversight leadership at local level as we seek to set team-working, collaboration, equipping others, fostering the gifts of the whole people of God, accountability and mutual support at the heart of our approach to mission-oriented ministry. We have also committed ourselves to fostering deeper discipleship leading to “more and more confident Christians” equipped to live out and witness to their faith daily.
The learning, coaching and mentoring streams of Pathways equip our leaders, both lay and ordained, to be the best that they can be through supporting culture change in the diocese and promoting learning and development opportunities. For the period of the maternity cover, the Administration Support Officer will provide valuable support for these functions and for the wider Pathways project.
