We are seeking to invest in our children and families and youth ministry across the whole Diocese with a programme that aims to develop further our strategy of Growing Disciples, reaching wider. Connecting younger and nurturing deeper roots of faith.
This new programme will be ‘locally lead, centrally supported’ with individual churches taking the lead in the delivery of mission and ministry but with central support from the Diocese, offering capacity to develop people and ministry across all of our diverse communities and churches.
We have a number of exciting new roles which have been especially created to help us to deliver our vision. All posts are full time fixed term 5 year appointments.

Operations Administrator – Children and Youth
Supporting the team who are delivering training and other events across the Diocese, booking resources, venues, catering etc, along with other administrative support for the team and local children’s and youth workers. You will be able to manage your workload independently and have strong administrative and IT skills and be educated to A level standard or have relevant administrative experience.
The Operations Administrator – Children & Youth role is key to supporting the delivery of the Growing Younger team as it trains and equips teams from parishes to see a dramatic increase in the number of children and youth engaged in the life of the church and growing in their relationship with Jesus.
You will be a part of a team and diocese that is committed to seeing a step change in children & families and youth ministry in the local church and our schools through our strategic aims of: Inspire, Support & Equip, Engage and Multiply relying on the guidance and empowering of the Holy Spirit. The Discipleship and Ministry team works collaboratively and prays together and will help to resource you for the role.
