We are looking to appoint a Head of Wellbeing for Clergy and Families (WCF) for the Diocese of Chichester (0.6- 0.8 post – 21- 28 hrs per week)
The Wellbeing for Clergy and Families (WCF) Service provides a professional, proactive, and responsive wellbeing service to serving clergy, their partner/spouse and their immediate family members within the Diocese of Chichester.

You will need to be able:
To assess and provide short term counselling to clergy, their partner/spouse and their immediate family members.
To co-ordinate, facilitate, recruit, and manage a team of self-employed therapists from different modalities to provide short term counselling (12 sessions) to clergy and their immediate family members.
To develop a proactive approach to sustaining wellbeing by offering all clergy the opportunity to attend a Reflective Practice Group (RPG).
To recruit, co-ordinate and manage a team of independent RPG facilitators.
To facilitate training opportunities/psycho-educational workshops for clergy and family members e.g. stress management.
You will be:
A BABCP, BACP, UKCP (or equivalent) fully accredited counsellor/psychotherapist.
Committed and able to provide short-term therapy (face to face + remote) to serving clergy and their immediate families.
Able to assess clients and refer on to WCF team of therapists or external agencies as appropriate.
Able to work independently and remotely.
Sympathetic to the beliefs and values of the Christian faith and the Church of England (CoE).
Aware and have experience of safeguarding issues and procedures.
Home based and able to travel independently within the diocese.
The salary offered is FTE £33,600, pro-rata £20,190 for 0.6 or £26,880 for 0.8.
