The Diocese of Lincoln Ministry Experience Scheme, which will run from October 2021, joins in with the ministry and mission of two benefices, helping people to explore their vocation and deepen their own prayer life and self-understanding, living with others in two very distinct settings within Lincolnshire.
The Diocese of Lincoln is offering an exciting and fulfilling 10-month ministry experience scheme for young people (18-30) who would like to explore whether God might be calling them to Christian ministry. During the placement the scheme will provide an opportunity for participants to experience ministry in a variety of settings and will aim to equip people for a life of service to God. You will also have the opportunity to complete a bespoke education module with the Lincoln School of Theology, enabling you to grow in your understanding of the Bible and of your faith
St Wulfram’s Grantham is a town centre, cathedral-like ‘Major Parish Church’ in the inclusive catholic tradition of the Church of England, we are a designated Urban Resource Church and you will be fully involved in the pastoral life of the church and assist in all aspects of worship, including ministry to schools , children and young people.
The Edenham Benefice and wider Beltisloe Deanery offers a variety of models of ministry in a rural context, you will be based at Edenham Regional House which offers retreat space for individuals and groups whilst also running an in-house programme of quiet days (two per month) and seasonal evenings.
