We are looking for an experienced, pro-active and skilled administrator who can hit the ground running joining our Operations team.
In this wide-ranging role you will have specific responsibility for the provision of dedicated support to our Safeguarding team, and good people skills, discretion and an eye for detail are key.
You will have a strong background in administration, so you can look after areas such as training preparation, administering meetings, diaries and records. You will be a self-starter who can take the initiative, have excellent organisational skills, and want a role where you will be embedded in a friendly and supportive team and workplace. We are also looking for a good communicator with a real understanding of how to deliver excellent customer service and someone in whom colleagues will have confidence that they will get the job done.
This is an opportunity to be part of a professional and hard-working team contributing to the overall aims of an organisation that serves people across Cornwall. At the Diocese of Truro we really value work-life balance and employee wellbeing and are committed to supporting your development. We offer flexible working, 25 days annual leave, and a pension scheme with 9-15% employer contribution.
You do not need to be a practising Christian, but do need to be sympathetic to the aims and objectives of the Church of England.
