To carry out installation and maintenance of electrical power supplies to the Cathedral (Commercial), Cathedral Estate ( Commercial) and Cathedral Housing (Residential) ensuring that all electrical works and alterations are in accordance with the relevant NICEIC http://www.niceic.com/ Institute Electrical Engineers ( IEE) and British Standards.
The job will require a mixture of reactive electrical repairs and planned or preventative maintenance electrical repairs.
The main tasks of this role include -
Essential requirements
Valid Electrotechnical Certification Card ( Installation Electrician) or equivalent competency based electrical qualification.
Minimum 5 Years Installation experience.
Full range of knowledge, skill and electrical competency to undertake the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance/alteration works to electrical installations to current version of BS 7671.
Self-Certification in accordance with Approved Document P
Physically Fit with good eyesight and mobility, ability to work at height and confined spaces.
Good communication skills in relation to Electrical Works.

Knowledge and experience of working on Historical Buildings and in the Commercial or Education Sector.
Full range of knowledge, skill and competency to undertake the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance/alteration works to electrical installations to current version of BS 7671.
