We are looking for a young people’s leader to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a leader with a heart for mission and ministry amongst young people, a passion for growing the church, and the ability to share this vision and draw people to it.

The role will be key in establishing a new resourcing church that impacts Camborne and the wider area. In doing so you will work with a gifted and enthusiastic team in a unique, historic and vibrant town.

You will have:

  • The gifts to lead and develop a thriving ministry geared towards young people.
  • The ability to lead on missional outreach towards young people in the community.
  • A desire to see the discipleship, growth and spiritual development of young people in Cornwall.
  • The skills to work with a team to instigate new worshipping communities within Camborne and the surrounding area.

Transforming Mission (TM) is a vision for renewal of mission within the Diocese of Truro.

Remuneration and Support:

Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 (depending on experience)

Pension: Diocesan Pension Scheme 9-15% employer contribution

Hours: 35 hours a week (Flexible working and job share will be considered), there will be regular weekend working, particularly Sundays

Location: St Martin & St Meriadoc’s Church, Camborne

There is an occupational requirement for the post-holder to be a Christian.

An enhanced DBS check will be required.
