Pontesbury
Clergy

We seek an able and experienced priest to become the first incumbent of the combined Pontesbury and Stiperstones Group. This will be a demanding, high profile but also hugely rewarding post bringing together the sizable villages of Pontesbury and Minsterley together with four churches of Snailbeach, Hope, Shelve and Habberley serving small rural communities. Recent reordering at Pontesbury and a reordering project nearing completion at Minsterley mean the two main church buildings can offer good modern faciities and flexible space.

This is a wonderful place to live, much of the area lies within the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With a number of nature reserves locally it is popular with walkers and mountain bikers. Transport connections are good to Shrewsbury and beyond.

If you would like to apply for this post please contact Joanne on 01588 673571 or office@bishopofludlow.co.uk in the first instance.
