Could you be called to be Priest-in-Charge of Hever, Four Elms and Markbeech?
This is a part-time role, offered on the basis of House-for-Duty, Self-Supporting Ministry or 0.5 Stipend.
Known as the "Three Spires", the benefice, which is located in the deanery of Tonbridge, within the Tonbridge Archdeaconry, consists of the parishes of Hever, Four Elms and Markbeech. It is set in open countryside, in a beautiful part of rural Kent, but also enjoys easy access to local towns and to London. There is a strong community, representing a mix of ages and of people working both locally and in London and the churches also have strong links with local primary schools.
We are eager to welcome and support a new priest, whose role we see very much as one of leadership, inspiring members of the congregation and the wider community, to take an active part in all aspects of the life of the church. We understand that as a part time priest-in-charge, the appointee will need help from all of us. We will cherish someone empathetic, spiritual and inclusive.
