The Diocese of Leicester is seeking to appoint an Intercultural Ministry Enabler (ICME)
to enable Parishes and Fresh Expressions of Church across the diocese to develop intercultural competence and confidence as they enable all people to respond to God’s call on their life.
This is an exciting new opportunity for a suitably experienced person to play a key role in an innovative project to help develop and communicate across cultures and ethnicities our ministry and mission in Leicester and Leicestershire.
Based in Leicester, the ICME will be a key member of the Mission and Ministry Department.
The primary role of the Intercultural Ministry Enabler will be to inspire, train and support individuals and churches throughout the diocese to develop and embed intercultural skills and ethos into the core of their mission and ministry, leading to a greater cultural and ethnic integration in the life of churches in Leicester Diocese.
