Fixed Term Contract - 3 years
We are seeking three growth enablers to lead the work of vision and growth across the diocese, with special attention to one of the three archdeaconries.
Candidates must be familiar with the Church of England and its structures, and understand the local church, including strategies for growth. Candidates must be educated, preferably to degree level, and have relevant experience. They must have excellent communication and organisation skills and be able to demonstrate success in planning and managing projects. The role will require candidates to travel throughout the diocese, often in the evenings and at weekends.

The post holder will, at times, be the public face of the Diocese. It is considered there is a Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR) for the postholder to be a communicant member of the Church of England, or of a Church in communion therewith or of a member Church of the Council of Churches for Britain and Ireland or of Churches Together in England, or of a member Church of the Evangelical Alliance.
